Sameera Awawda is associate professor of economics at the economics department and the Institute of Community and Public Health (ICPH), Birzeit University, Palestine. She is the director of the Master program of Applied Statistics and Data Science. Her research interests include economics evaluation, microeconometrics, microsimulation, and economics of inequality and wellbeing. She acts as a assistant coordinator for the AHEAD Research Network. Dr. Awawda holds a PhD degree in Economics from Aix-Marseille University.
