Hubert Stahn is a Professor of Economics at Aix-Marseille Université, affiliated with the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE). His research spans public economics, environmental economics, game theory, and the economics of social networks. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics in 1991 from Université Louis Pasteur (Strasbourg I). Professor Stahn’s work addresses theoretical and applied issues in resource and environmental economics, market structures, and general equilibrium, with numerous publications and working papers on topics such as groundwater management, renewable energy markets, externalities, and collective decision processes. His research is informed by formal economic modeling and contributes to policy-relevant debates on sustainability and regulation. In addition to his research, he is involved in teaching and academic service within Aix-Marseille Université, contributing to the development of economic theory and quantitative analysis in graduate and undergraduate programmes.
