Charles Figuières is Professor of Economics at Aix-Marseille University and a member of the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE). His research lies at the intersection of environmental economics, public economics, and game theory. He studies collective decision-making mechanisms, the economic valuation of environmental goods and biodiversity, as well as strategic interactions related to the management of natural resources and public goods. His work is primarily theoretical, with applications to sustainability-oriented public policies.
